Challenges
Navigating Complex Client Needs and Communication
The project presented several significant challenges. Direct communication with the client's owner, who communicated in a mix of English and Spanish, required careful attention and understanding. The client's initial insistence on a low budget for a custom project without design drafts made closing the deal difficult. Furthermore, achieving precise color matching for the prints and ensuring high clarity for specific designs demanded meticulous sampling, which took two rounds. The client's non-urgent timeline also initially made them hesitant, requiring a strategic approach to conversion.

Gahumi adopted a multifaceted approach to address the client's needs. Recognizing the budget sensitivity, Gahumi used the client's initial price target as an anchor to prompt them for design details, successfully activating the client and leading to price negotiation and design acquisition. The company provided comprehensive design support, showcasing previous successful children's T-shirt projects and highlighting factory capabilities to build trust. By demonstrating flexibility in negotiation and offering material expertise for skin-friendly fabrics suitable for children, Gahumi aligned with the client's requirements.

Rich Fabric Library: Build a fabric display area to synchronously showcase a variety of fabrics such as all - cotton, polyester - cotton, modal, and bamboo fiber both online and offline. Each fabric is meticulously labeled with parameters including composition, weight per square meter, hand feel, breathability, and sweat - absorption. Fabric swatches are provided for customers to touch, feel, and test.

Full - process Quality Inspection: Set up multiple quality inspection checkpoints in links such as fabric warehousing, cutting, printing, sewing, and finished - product inspection. During the production process, inspection personnel conduct random spot checks at any time to promptly identify and solve problems. When inspecting finished products, strictly check according to the AQL sampling standard to ensure that the defective rate is controlled within 1%.
