The canvas bags customized for the Nanjing Government Project were used as supporting materials for government-related activities, requiring both practicality and a formal image, with strict requirements for product quality and delivery timeliness. Due to the urgent activity schedule and the impact of the pandemic on logistics and production, the supplier's emergency response capability was severely tested.
Project Goals
The Nanjing Government Project aimed to meet the material needs of the activity through customized canvas bags. The core goal was to overcome production and logistics restrictions under the pandemic to ensure the bags were delivered on time or even in advance, avoiding delays to the activity.
Challenges
Dual Pressure of Timeliness and Pandemic: The customer consulted at 11:30 p.m. and visited the factory to place an order the next day, leaving extremely limited time. During the pandemic, personnel movement and material transportation were restricted, making production organization difficult.
Trust and Quality Test: Trust needed to be built quickly for the first cooperation. As materials for government projects, the canvas bags had strict quality requirements for sewing craftsmanship and printing clarity.
Solutions
Emergency Response Mechanism Activated: After receiving the consultation, a dedicated coordinator was assigned immediately to sort out production resources overnight. When the customer visited the factory, fabric samples and production plans were already prepared, and sampling was initiated immediately after on-site confirmation.
Production Guarantee Under Pandemic: Coordinated with local raw material suppliers to prioritize supply, and arranged employees under closed-loop management in the factory to form a special production team, reducing the connection time between cutting, sewing, and printing links.
Whole-Process Acceleration: Preparations for mass production were launched simultaneously after sampling. Progress was tracked daily, and advance delivery was finally achieved. In subsequent collaborations, the response process of "order placed on the same day, samples ready the next day" was solidified.
